Technical Handouts for Enhancing Virtual Reality.

Enhancing Virtual Reality is one of the Grand Engineering Challenges and I have selected this piece for my blog because of how it captures my creativity. The task was to make technical handouts for two different demographics of people, one for experts in the field (enhancing virtual reality) and one for high-school students. The handouts show how much I have learned how to communicate practically the same information to different groups of people. I had to be very picky with the information I put on them, especially with the high-schooler handouts. The information that experts would take as a given or understand immediately needed to be simplified for high-schoolers to be able to grasp it.
Working on this didn't really force me out of my comfort zone because I have always loved working on graphic design, so it was more of an opportunity to solidify my skills and apply them in a somewhat professional setting. I do not consider these handouts my best work for two reasons, the first being because of how comfortable I was doing it. I love working on things that make me struggle because they bring out the best in me, but this one being directly related to graphic design felt a bit too close to home. The second reason is because it is not nearly as technical as my other work and I have communicated more complex concepts.
