The objective of this project was to code a pump to automatically pump different amounts of water into some soil at different moisture levels, and make a 2 minute long video and report explaining the process. The moisture readings were recorded using the moisture sensor in the soil and then graphed in MATLAB. I selected this piece because it highlights my ability to communicate and explain concepts orally and visually. The video also had to be 2 minutes long so I had to ensure I was concise, but also complete, when I was making it. This project pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me work very hard to show my understanding of the concepts in the allotted time but it is definitely not my best work because I didn't have the knowledge I have now when I worked on it.
